Meshmatics chandelier
The Meshmatics chandelier is a design by the Dutch designer Rick Tegelaar. Tegelaar likes to work with everyday materials such as mesh and waste wood. By re-examining these materials, he comes to new aesthetic qualities and applications of the materials. The beautifully designed Meshmatics Hanging lamp is a perfect example of this; this is namely made of metal wire. Extra special is that Tegelaar specially designed to achieve this design, a machine and tools. With his own invented equipment, Tegelaar was able to shape the shape of metal wire in a very controlled and accurate way, with the majestic Meshmatics Hanging lamp as a result. The surprising design, with the integrated and dimmable LED light source that shines upwards, provides exceptional light and a play of shadows on the ceiling. The ingenious layered steel frame shines gracefully through the LED light that with 2700 Kelvin gives a very warm white light (maximum 30 Watt). The chandelier-like lamp has a diameter of 60 centimeters and is 60 centimeters high.
